 Charm and character 30 m from the Canal du Midi in the Minervois. The house was originally a barn and has about 70 m2 of habitable space on 3 levels.
The ground floor is a garage and utility room and small patio. Nice easy staircase up to the first floor which is an open plan living/dining room opening onto the terrace, and an American kitchen. The bathroom is also on this level. There's a fireplace with a wood burner.
The three bedrooms are on the first floor which was the attic.
Homps is a lovely village on the Canal du Midi. There are restaurants and a small supermarket in the village. Olonzac is about 5 minutes and has a large market on Tuesday. The Mediterranean beaches are about 40 minutes, and Carcassonne and Narbonne are about 30.
Can't you just imagine those lovely bike rides beside the Canal?
